Codes of Conduct

TBLL Safety Code

Lightning Safety -  TBLL has hand-held SkyScan Lightning Detectors which can determine the  range of lighting flash up to 40 miles away.  If there is the slightest chance of a thunderstorm, coaches need to take the SkyScan detector out of the equipment room and bring it to the field during the practice or game.  If the detector emits a sound, the coaches are to evacuate the players from the field and not resume play until 30 minutes after the last thunder was heard.

If you can HEAR, SEE, or FEEL, a THUNDERSTORM, suspend all games and practices  immediately!  Do not find shelter in dugouts or under metal structures!

Pitch Count Rule -  Information and FAQs on the Little League Pitch Count for Parents, Coaches, and League Officials, can be found at the link:

http://www.littleleague.org/media/pitch_count_publication.pdf

Face Guards Required - Helmets must have attached face guards for baseball players in the T Ball, Minor C, Minor B, and Minor A Divisions. Baseball players in the Majors Division must have a C-flap or face guard on their helmets.

No Dogs Allowed -  For the health of our children, Hillsborough County Ordinance 97-14 does not allow any pets, whether or not they are leashed, on the fields.  County rules also forbid tobacco products (smoking or chewing).  You will be asked to leave the premises if in violation of these ordinances.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Smiley  In an effort to manage the traffic issues around the perimeter of the TBLL Manhattan Complex, the Tampa Police Department has had officers patrolling our streets.  Whenever you see an officer, please let them know how much the TBLL community appreciates their help in partnering with us to keep our families safe.
