Welcome to Tampa Bay Little League!

Tampa Bay Little League (TBLL) has existed in South Tampa since 1954,  serving more than 600 youth anually in our community with approximately 35 baseball,  softball, and T-ball teams.  TBLL is chartered by Little League International of Williamsport, PA.  We play in District 6 with 11 other local Hillsborough County leagues.  Our league bylaws may be viewed by clicking here F TBLL Bylaws

100% of our league's duties are accomplished by volunteers!  We are not paid and not always perfect but we are always committed to helping the kids.  If you wish to help out, please contact a board member or look for opportunities and announcements on this site.

Our mailing address is P.O. Box 18971, Tampa, FL 33679.

It is the goal of Tampa Bay Little League to find a place where each child can excel and have fun.  All players grow (athletically, physically, and mentally) at different rates.  Many factors are considered when teams are assembled: the number of positions available, the player's current abilities, and level of competitiveness.  At the higher levels, Spring teams are assembled by a fair draft process, following player tryouts.  Please click here Divisions of Play for a description of the various playing levels.

TBLL teams play at the Manhattan (John Bond) and Grady (Carol Kennedy) fields in South Tampa.  Use this Field Maps link for directions to our fields and other fields in the District.  Each family is expected to take a few turns during the season at Concession duty.  These are usually scheduled by team moms.

Use the Boundaries Map link to view the legal description of TBLL boundaries.  Parents/legal guardians are responsible for ensuring that their children meet the residency requirements.  'Ineligible' players are not covered by league insurance and cannot participate in post-season play.  Under some circumstances, waivers may be obtained for children living outside the boundaries -- please contact the league president or information officer.

Official 'League Ages' from Little League National changed in 2006.  Use the Age Charts link to determine your child's official league age.

Contact info (phone numbers and email addresses) for Board Members may be found by using the Contact Us link here or at the top right of our web page.  The National Little League website is a great source of information for parents and coaches.  To visit the site, click on www.littleleague.org
